The very fashionable trend in Ekamai is renovating big houses and turning them into the hottest hangout spot (think 6ixcret, Ekamai soi 6 and Baan Ekamai, Ekamai soi 21).
That is why it is no surprise that Hidden Agenda (Ekamai soi 10, yaek 6) will become the latest chic place to be.
First off, we LOVE the name. Why? Because, yes it is a little hidden, and if you didn't drive past it you could miss it. We think the play on words is very clever and shows a lot of thought behind it.
The second thing we love about Hidden Agenda is the modern spin of antique decor. We are also a sucker for good logo and branding and they have outdone themselves there.
On Saturday May 21st, Hidden Agenda had their very big grand opening. Despite the rain and the flooding, the big line-up of cars was a testament of friends that the owners have hustled in.
The party lasted all night long and people united over the nasty storm outside.
The owners are no other but a handful of friends who wish to create a hangout spot for themselves with good live music and a home-like atmosphere to kick-back and enjoy. The menu has been crafted to suit the wines and cocktails they proudly offer.
Thinking of hosting a private event?
Hidden Agenda holds ample space for an indoor and outdoor gathering with enough space for parking.
In today's overcrowded and traffic-prone neighbourhood of Thonglor-Ekamai, it is a welcome change to be able to actually hear your friends talk and carry a conversation.
We certainly hope that Hidden Agenda can be able to fulfil this niche, where good friends come together for some good ol' fashion socialising and fun.
